The Role
This role is responsible for supporting Revenue Commercial Activation initiatives for newly opening and transitioning hotels, with a strong focus on building and configuring hotels within the Hyatt technology stack. The position plays a critical role in ensuring revenue systems, pricing structures, inventory setup, and commercial platforms are operationally ready to support successful hotel launches and transitions.

The role focuses on the tactical setup and execution of revenue-related systems and processes, including room type configuration, rate and pricing setup, global pricing workbook management, and system activation across Hyatt’s commercial platforms. This individual partners closely with internal commercial and revenue teams to ensure all systems, data, and revenue tools are aligned with strategic objectives and operational timelines.

The Manager, Revenue Commercial Activation supports the successful onboarding and activation of hotels by ensuring all revenue configurations, inventory structures, and pricing components are accurately established within Hyatt systems. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a working knowledge of revenue management systems, distribution platforms, and hotel commercial operations.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a primary resource for Revenue Commercial Activation efforts for newly opening and transitioning hotels across Hyatt’s portfolio.
  • Build and configure hotels within the Hyatt technology stack to ensure operational readiness for launch and transition activities.
  • Create and maintain room type configurations, inventory structures, and rate plans across Hyatt revenue and distribution systems.
  • Complete and manage Global Pricing Workbooks, ensuring all pricing and revenue data is accurate, aligned, and properly documented.
  • Support system setup and activation for revenue-related platforms, distribution channels, and commercial applications.
  • Partner with internal teams including Commercial O&C, Commercial Strategy, Global Hotel Opening, Distribution, Bridge Revenue Team, to support activation timelines and commercial readiness.
  • Ensure hotels are accurately positioned within Hyatt systems and distribution channels prior to launch.
  • Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure revenue systems, room configurations, and pricing setups are functioning correctly.
  • Utilize internal dashboards, reporting tools, and revenue systems to track activation status and identify issues requiring resolution.
  • Support process improvements related to revenue activation workflows, system setup standards, and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years of revenue management experience, preferably in a centralized or multi-property environment.
  • Proven track record of managing pre-opening and transition hotel strategies, with measurable impact on ramp-up performance.
  • Experience supporting full-service and/or select-service hotels across various markets and demand environments.
  • Proficient in Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Central Reservation Systems (CRS), and Property Management Systems (PMS); experience with Hyatt systems (e.g., Pro, Reserve, SynXis, Opera) preferred
  • Deep understanding of hotel pricing strategies, inventory control, and market segmentation.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and convert insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, especially under tight timelines during openings and transitions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience Preferred:

  • Hotel/hospitality industry experience
  • Outstanding project management, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Highly self–motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.

The salary range for this position is $105,000-$110,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, an annual bonus, monthly or quarterly incentives, etc.

The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
