About the role We are seeking a high-caliber Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead the production of modular data center solutions. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our complex, integrated infrastructure is built to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will partner closely with Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Deployment teams to scale manufacturing capabilities across global facilities. This is a unique opportunity to shape the operational framework for a diverse product mix serving some of the world’s most demanding customers. Location. This role is remote-based in Dublin, Ireland. This role requires the ability to travel globally (approx. 20–30%) to support site readiness and operational audits. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) Global Operational Leadership Process Standardization Drive process consistency and technical excellence across all global manufacturing facilities to ensure a uniform "Gold Standard" for every modular unit produced. Strategic Interface Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for manufacturing operations across all product lines, facilitating seamless communication between regional sites and corporate leadership. Performance Excellence Establish a performance baseline and drive key manufacturing KPIs, including Safety, Quality (Yield/NCRs), Cost (COGS), and On-Time Delivery (OTD). Capacity & Production Strategy Advanced Modeling Develop and maintain executable capacity models capable of handling a complex mix of custom, engineer-to-order (ETO) products. S&OP Integration Analyze S&OP forecasts and material constraints to provide strategic recommendations for production schedules, ensuring achievable commitments to customers. Footprint Optimization Design and implement efficient change-over processes that maximize output while utilizing limited factory floor area effectively. Cross-Functional Collaboration Supplier Partnership Support the Sourcing function during supplier selection and participate in product validation to ensure the supply chain can meet rigorous manufacturing requirements. Lifecycle Support Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM) and partner with Deployment teams to guarantee successful site integration post-manufacturing. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; MBA or Master’s in Operations Management is a plus. Experience 8+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, ideally within modular construction, heavy electrical infrastructure, or data center systems. Technical Proficiency Proven expertise in capacity modeling, labor standards, and S&OP processes in a high-mix/low-volume environment. Systems Knowledge Strong familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Lean Manufacturing methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen). Communication Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.
