In this exciting and challenging role, you'll have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of domains within a strategic marketing analytics team. You’ll take ownership of maintaining and improving existing solutions, while also developing new ones using analytical tools. This is an intermediate level position designed for you to showcase your analytical expertise and grow your career, whether deeper in the technical realm or expand into the business and management domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data and Communication: Go-to person for updating financial and market models that blend complex disparate qualitative and quantitative sources, aligns assumptions with key stakeholders, and presents results clearly and concisely.
  • Financial & Marketing Models: Build and maintain financial and marketing models in Excel to support data-driving decision-making and forecasting.
  • Go-to expert on market data: Studies quantitative data, applied business domain knowledge, formulates and tests hypotheses, discovers business implications from the data, understands dataset and how it connect to various business and market verticals/horizontals.
  • Communicating Insights: Apply your understanding of the data and the business into meaningful insights and concise summaries, ensuring the audience understands the story behind the numbers.

Functional Knowledge

  • Intermediate to expert in ETL processes or concepts and familiarity with Excel is foundational to success here.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and design principles that emphasizes audience experience and accessibility.
  • Solid grasp of basic statistical analysis, attention to detail, pattern recognition, with ability to zoom in & out of a data landscape.

Business Expertise / Orientation

  • Impacts high level strategic decisions across multiple departments and domains, so an understanding of- or rapid ability to learn- how data supports and how decisions are made in financial, marketing strategies, and product management is essential.
  • Can zoom in and out from transaction-level-detail to architectural design of data pipelines and business processes.
  • Passion for simplifying sophistication, eliminating unnecessary complexity while streamlining and demystifying necessary complexity.

Leadership

  • Takes full ownership of projects, set timelines, and guides stakeholders in the right direction based on data, insights, and milestones.
  • Champion for data-driven decision-making and using technology (think: data science/ML) to improve the productivity of your customers.

Impact

  • Immediate visibility and impact across the organization and business.  Your data products, models, and data-driven insights directly influence strategic initiatives.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Able to explain complex ideas in simple terms, exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
  • Collaborate with a variety of personalities, so being a team player with an open attitude and a solution-oriented mindset is a must.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strength with Excel and marketing anlaysis.
  • Basic statistics knowledge, critical thinking,
  • Track record of building data models and data products that are not only functional but delightful to use.  Communicates with clarity and influence.

Ideal Requirements:

  • 3+ years of work that demonstrates analytical prowess, business or social impact acumen, with an ability to communicate with impact.
  • Advanced experience and command with Excel, data wrangling/ETL, and automating data pipelines.
  • Experience working with and connecting datasets from various sources and concepts from multiple domains.
  • Experience building (coding, vibe coding, or using ETL packages) production-worthy programs or apps that leverage complex and disparate data sets.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
