Mission Success Air Force Program Manager

Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual with a special operations background having supported operational missions overseas to join the Second Front team as a Program Manager. We are a fast-growing entrepreneurial team working at the convergence of technology, the Department of Defense (DoD), and the greater national security ecosystem. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Special Programs. We are growing quickly and need an experienced professional to play a key role in helping to secure future business and partnership initiatives. This personnel will represent 2F during customer and market-facing engagements. This is a cross-functional role that will work with Mission Success, sales, solutions architects, product engineering, and Federal Delivery teams. Note This position requires U.S. citizenship, TS SCI, & must live near Rome, NY. What You’ll Do Coordinate stakeholders to manage scope, secure support and resources for contract delivery Act as a primary customer contact for program activities, participating in program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Reconcile competing priorities, align complementary initiatives, and build coalitions among cross-functional partners Participate in strategic planning sessions to align Game Warden with the evolving needs of the defense sector and ensure our offerings meet US Government emerging needs. Skills You’ll Bring to Our Team Possess an appropriate level of technical knowledge to be able to ask the right questions, challenge the status quo, and build mutual confidence with technical counterparts A self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government clients Project management experience Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment Active Security Clearance (TS/SCI) Ability to travel at least 20% of the time Preferred Qualifications Experience with DoD Program Executive Offices (PEOs) / Program Managers (PMs) / Contracting Officers relevant to software development, accreditation, acquisition, and associated digital applications. Knowledge of the rapid acquisition ecosystem such as AFWERX, Cloud1, Platform1, and DAFCloudWorks. Knowledge of tactical military capabilities and the role of software in operational environments. Experience with DoD and other governmental Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) organizations. Experience with DoD and other governmental Chief Information Officers (CIO) / Chief Technology Officers (CTO) and respective enterprise cloud management organizations. Demonstrated performance as a goal-oriented, assertive and a hands-on problem solver. Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at multiple levels of an organization. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead or serve within a diverse, inclusive team of action-oriented individuals.
