Mobile Repair Technician – Walk-in Customers – Experience Needed

Job Summary

MNC Jobs Info is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Repair Technician to join our walk-in service center. This is an on-site role where the technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mobile phones and smartphones. The ideal candidate should have a passion for mobile technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric mindset to deliver quick and efficient repairs to walk-in clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hardware and software repairs for Android and iOS devices

  • Diagnose issues including battery problems, screen damage, motherboard faults, speaker/mic issues, and charging port defects

  • Replace parts such as LCD screens, batteries, and internal components using appropriate tools

  • Use specialized equipment to perform chip-level repair if applicable

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, spare parts, and customer complaints

  • Ensure high standards of quality and turnaround time for every service

  • Provide walk-in customers with clear repair estimates, timeframes, and post-service advice

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the repair station

  • Stay updated on new mobile technologies and repair techniques

  • Follow ESD and safety protocols to protect devices and data integrity

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mobile devices (both Android & iOS)

  • Solid understanding of mobile hardware architecture and software issues

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple walk-in customers

  • Basic computer literacy to manage inventory and repair tickets

  • Clear communication and customer service skills

  • Familiarity with using tools like multimeters, soldering irons, and screen separators

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mobile repair (retail or service center)

  • Experience in chip-level repairing will be considered an added advantage

  • Candidates with formal training/certification in mobile servicing will be preferred

Working Hours

  • Full-time, On-site

  • Monday to Saturday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Sunday Off (or rotational day off depending on store policy)

  • Ability to diagnose and fix complex problems with minimal supervision
