POSITION INFORMATION: Full time

LOCATION: Remote

POSITION TIMING: Candidate must obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance, which typically takes 4 to 6+ weeks to process. Clearance must be fully granted before starting on the program.

We are seeking a Mobility Engineer with heavy mobile application development and CI/CD pipeline experience to support mobile app engineering and enterprise mobile device management (MDM) operations in a secure, mission-driven environment. This role supports the development, build, testing, and distribution of internal and public-facing iOS and Android mobile apps, along with Microsoft Intune administration, developer environment support, device lifecycle management, compliance enforcement, and secure access configuration across enterprise mobility platforms.

 

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience developing and supporting iOS and Android mobile applications, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile app builds and distribution, managing developer environments and access, and administering Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Microsoft Intune MDM/MAM at scale. Experience supporting Tactical Access Kit (TAK) solutions is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the development activities for internal and public-facing iOS and Android mobile apps.
    • Manage app builds, metadata, and developer access.
    • Manage certificates, identifiers, profiles, and devices to develop, test, and distribute apps.
    • Manage the usage of developer services.
  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated mobile app builds, testing, and distribution.
  • Support the developer environments on Apple Mac devices.
    • Manage Intune MDM policies, configurations, and packaging of developer resources.
    • Manage SOPs and documentation for development environments.
  • Evaluate, design, test, implement, and maintain software, configurations, and policies for Intune mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
  • Implement and maintain DEV enrollment profiles and policies for Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Intune MDM.
  • Perform testing and integration of new apps, security policies, configurations, and settings for the ICE mobile environment.
  • Enroll, manage, and secure mobile devices leveraging certificate-based authentication providing access to ICE enterprise resources, applications, and services.
  • Assist in the creation and improvement of support documentation.
  • Monitor device health, compliance status, and security posture; troubleshoot and resolve mobility-related issues.
  • Provide Tier II/Tier III mobility support for end users as needed.
Qualifications:

REQUIRED:

  • Hands-on experience developing, building, testing, and distributing iOS and Android mobile applications.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile application builds, testing, and distribution.
  • Experience managing app builds, metadata, certificates, identifiers, provisioning profiles, and developer access (e.g., Apple Developer Program, Apple Business Manager, Google Play).
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting developer environments on Apple Mac devices, including Intune policies, configurations, and packaging of developer resources.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and O365 integration.
  • Experience managing user groups, access policies, and conditional access controls.
  • Experience enrolling and securing mobile devices using certificate-based authentication.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills related to mobile device management and secure access.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance.

DESIRED:

  • Experience supporting or administering Tactical Access Kit (TAK) solutions.
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and DEV enrollment profiles and policies.
  • Familiarity with mobile application management (MAM), enterprise mobility security best practices, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Experience automating administrative tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting tools.
  • Experience working in a federal or highly regulated environment.
