Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Motion Designer to join our digital content team. As a Motion Designer, you will be responsible for crafting visually stunning and engaging motion graphics and short-form videos for various social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. This role is ideal for someone with a strong passion for storytelling through animation and a good grasp of trends in digital content and social engagement.

Working remotely, you will collaborate with our marketing, design, and social media teams to create content that not only reflects the Progressive Technology brand but also captivates our global audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and animate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects for social media content.

  • Develop short-form videos that align with branding, strategy, and campaign goals.

  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to brainstorm creative ideas and video concepts.

  • Ensure all assets adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining visual consistency across platforms.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and animation techniques to improve creative output.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Provide feedback and revisions based on team and client inputs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop).

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-level motion design work, especially for social media.

  • Solid understanding of animation principles, video editing, and visual storytelling.

  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

  • Ability to adapt content for different formats and platforms (Reels, Stories, TikToks, etc.).

  • Basic knowledge of sound design and audio syncing is a plus.

  • Comfortable with receiving and incorporating feedback in an iterative process.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or a related field.

  • Prior experience creating social media video content is highly preferred.

  • Experience working remotely with international teams is a bonus.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours with core availability required between 10 AM – 4 PM (GMT/BST) for team coordination.

  • Project-based deliverables with expected weekly output based on campaign needs.
