Job Summary We're looking for an experienced Oracle DBA Consultant to support our customers' modernization initiatives. As an Oracle database SME, you'll work individually and as part of a team to migrate large and mission-critical database environments from older versions (11g, 12c) to 19c. Key Responsibilities Migrate large and mission-critical database environments from older versions (11g, 12c) to 19c Provide expert Oracle database administration support for customers' modernization initiatives Work individually and as part of a team to ensure seamless database migration and upgrade Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues Optimize database performance and implement tuning strategies Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN Implement Oracle DataGuard for disaster recovery Configure and manage Oracle GoldenGate for data replication Ensure database security and encryption Essential Qualifications Minimum of 12 years of experience in Oracle database administration B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree 3-5 years of experience in Oracle Database migration and upgrade 6-7 years of experience with Oracle Linux Oracle Database 12c to 19c upgrade experience preferred Oracle RAC experience Database performance tuning Oracle DataGuard experience required RMAN backup and recovery experience Oracle Database encryption Experience upgrading and migrating large databases Networking related to Oracle database Preferred Qualifications Oracle Certified Professional certification Oracle OCI experience Oracle GoldenGate experience Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete tasks Positive attitude and exceptional problem-solving skills Strong analytical and technical skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Mythics, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
