Leading Global Law Firm is searching for a Paralegal Manager to oversee and drive the performance of a high-functioning paralegal team across the West Coast region.

This is a leadership role focused on managing people, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the delivery of best-in-class litigation and practice support. You’ll work closely with attorneys and firm leadership to enhance service delivery, mentor talent, and continuously improve operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage the California paralegal team, ensuring high-quality support across matters
  • Monitor performance, productivity, and utilization while promoting best practices
  • Coordinate staffing, assign projects, and manage workflow across case teams
  • Partner with senior attorneys to support effective case management and resource planning
  • Oversee training, mentorship, and professional development initiatives
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support compensation review processes
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new paralegals
  • Address performance issues and partner with HR on employee relations matters
  • Drive collaboration across offices and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
  • Lead departmental meetings and implement process improvements

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience within a law firm or legal environment
  • Prior experience as a litigation paralegal strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of civil litigation, discovery, and trial support processes
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-performance environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation support tools (e.g., Relativity, Concordance)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive operational efficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD or MBA a plus
