Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing (monthly/bi-weekly) for consulting employees.

• Manage payroll inputs including attendance, timesheets, leaves, reimbursements, bonuses, incentives, and deductions.

• Ensure accurate salary computation, arrears, and full & final settlements.

• Handle payroll for onshore/offshore consultants, contract staff, and third-party payrolls if applicable.

Compliance & Statutory
• Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns.
• Support audits and statutory inspections with required documentation.
• Stay updated on labor law and payroll regulation changes.

Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors.
• Prepare payroll MIS reports, reconciliation statements, and management dashboards.
• Respond to employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.
• Support payroll budgeting and forecasting activities.

Systems & Process
• Maintain payroll records in HRMS / Payroll systems.
• Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support payroll automation.

Required Skills & QualificationsMandatory
• 2–5 years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a consulting or services firm.
• Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws & statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with payroll software / HRMS.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Desirable
• Experience handling multi-location or multi-client payroll.
• Exposure to timesheet-based payroll (consulting environment).
• Knowledge of income tax calculations and Form 16.
• Prior experience working with staffing or IT consulting firms.

Education
• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Payroll or statutory compliance certifications (preferred).
