They make sure our growing and diverse global team is supported and capable of delivering our projects and customer’s missions, and they’re responsible for supporting their development, nurturing their skills and talent, and retaining the world-class people already on our team. </p> <p><strong>PEOPLE & CULTURE ANALYST II</strong></p> <p>Based onsite at Rocket Lab’s global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the P&C Analyst II will work closely with the People & Culture team to provide analytical support for the development, implementation, and management of compensation, benefits, and HRIS systems. You will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and program effectiveness while contributing to the overall employee experience.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:</strong></p> <p><strong>Analytical Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide analytical and audit support for compensation and benefits programs including, but not limited to open enrollment, RSU administration, M&A activities, systems implementations, data analytics, and merit review.</li> <li>Conduct regular market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings.</li> <li>Assist with the preparation of budget and spend reports for Total Rewards programs.</li> <li>Support audits and compliance reviews for compensation and benefits programs to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.</li> <li>Perform regular audits and reconciliations data between multiple HRIS, payroll systems, and benefit vendors to ensure accuracy.</li> <li>Work with EIS to troubleshoot benefit integration issues and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely resolution and accurate data flow.</li> <li>Support the preparation and submission of compensation and benefits surveys and reports.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Integrity </strong></p> <ul> <li>Proactively identify data integrity issues through data scrubbing, mining, and reconciliations.</li> <li>Provide analytical support related to the rollout of data integrity reports.</li> <li>Investigate and determine root cause of data issues.</li> <li>Provide recommendations for solving future data integrity issues.</li> <li>Work with vendors to update their reports with accurately updated data.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Mergers & Acquisitions Integration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide analytical support for M&A activities related to the</li> <li>Assist in the development of integration strategies and checklists for compensation and benefits programs.</li> <li>Support the job offer creation process and ensure accurate data integration during M&A transactions.</li> <li>Develop process maps and SOPs related to P&C and M&A processes to assist with M&A integrations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Systems Integration, Testing, and Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide support in systems testing and implementation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS systems and/or total rewards analysis.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience building, scaling, and automating technical tools and processes.</li> <li>Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.</li> </ul> <p><strong>THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Workday or other HR systems.</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in advanced data functions, validation, and integrity checks, with the ability to create data visualization, storytelling, and analytics.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.</li> <li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.</li> <li>Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</li> <li>Knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations and compliance requirements.</li> <li>Experience in the aerospace or technology sectors.</li> </ul> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. </li> <li>Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing. </li> <li>Must be physically able to commute to buildings </li> <li>Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise. </li> <li>Ability to occasionally work outside of business hours and/or travel to other sites.</li> </ul><div><div><div><p><em>Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.</em></p> <p><em>Base salary is just one component of our total rewards package at Rocket Lab.
