Performance & Reliability Engineer

Description:

  • Automate deployment processes and design solutions that improve system reliability and efficiency.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code for scalable, repeatable deployments.
  • Build and maintain observability frameworks for monitoring, alerting, and performance analysis.
  • Define, track, and maintain service level objectives and service level indicators in collaboration with development and operations teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.
  • Drive reliability initiatives and proactively identify reliability risks across the technology stack.
  • Optimize system throughput and latency through performance engineering efforts.
  • Manage deployment processes and support smooth releases with minimal downtime.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience with Generative AI.
  • 2+ years of experience with SRE observability.
  • 3+ years of experience with automation, including scripting for automation, infrastructure-as-code platforms, and advanced monitoring solutions.
  • Experience with performance engineering techniques and deployment management strategies (highly beneficial).
  • Experience with SRE methodologies, including the creation and maintenance of SLOs and SLIs.
  • Exposure to troubleshooting complex distributed systems and implementing observability best practices.
  • Experience working in a federal or public sector environment (bonus).
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) (bonus).
  • Applicants must have U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
