Position Summary: Palace Poker is Grand Prairie’s premier private members-only poker club, where world-class service, elegance, and poker integrity take center stage. We’re seeking energetic, professional, and service-focused individuals to join our Poker Operations team in a Dual-Rate role, performing both Poker Dealer and Poker Floor responsibilities. This position is ideal for experienced poker professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment and are looking to grow within one of Texas’ premier poker destinations.

The Dual-Rate Poker Dealer / Poker Floor team member will alternate between dealing live poker games and assisting with floor operations, including game management, player service, tournament support, dispute resolution, and maintaining the integrity of the poker room.

Successful candidates must possess strong game knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to remain composed under pressure while delivering a luxury-level member experience.

Key Responsibilities

Poker Dealer Responsibilities

  • Professionally deal a variety of poker games including:
    • No Limit Hold’em
    • Pot Limit Omaha
    • Big O
    • Mixed Games
    • Other specialty poker variants as assigned
  • Accurately control and maintain the action of the game at all times
  • Ensure proper procedures, betting structures, and game protection are consistently followed
  • Maintain game pace while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for members and guests
  • Manage pots, side pots, rake/time collections, and chip handling accurately
  • Announce action clearly and professionally
  • Monitor player behavior and immediately report irregularities or concerns to Poker Floor leadership
  • Uphold all Palace Poker policies, procedures, and responsible gaming standards

Poker Floor Responsibilities

  • Oversee live cash games and tournament operations to ensure efficient, fair, and professional gameplay
  • Open, balance, and manage poker tables based on business demand
  • Handle player disputes and rulings professionally and consistently
  • Assist with player seating, waitlists, transfers, and game flow
  • Coordinate tournament registrations, seating assignments, breaks, payouts, and final table procedures
  • Support dealers with procedural questions and operational guidance
  • Deliver elevated customer service while maintaining a calm and authoritative presence
  • Work closely with management, cage, member services, food & beverage, and security teams
  • Ensure compliance with all Texas social club operational guidelines, AML/Title 31 standards, and internal controls
  • Assist with livestream table coordination and featured game operations when applicable

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of poker dealing experience required
  • Prior Poker Floor, Brush, Tournament Director, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of poker rules, procedures, and game protection
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required
  • Must possess strong math and chip-handling skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and major tournament series
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and leadership mentality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Texas poker clubs or casino poker rooms
  • Tournament operations experience
  • Familiarity with PokerAtlas or similar poker room management systems
  • Experience with livestream or featured table operations
  • Hospitality or luxury service background
