Join a team of batch technicians who manage the daily transfer of millions of rows of data moving between SAP systems, cloud and other platforms.<br><br><strong>Exciting Opportunity!<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience with Run My Jobs and interface with SAP BW</li><li>Support SAP Business Warehouse solution used as a reporting and analytics platform 24/7 365 days a year and whose data is leveraged by many downstream applications. The platform is part of a larger, evolving data ecosystem and interfaces with many systems. The team you will join constantly monitors batch success and performance. </li><li>We are looking for team players, who are willing to bring people across disciplines together. Challenges include changing priorities, continuous learning, and a willingness to dive into and solve complex problems. How you communicate and approach problems is important to us. <br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Do:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop and optimize SAP BW batch jobs and dataflows. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve batch job and workflow issues. </li><li>Monitor batch operations: evaluate current state, recommend and implement improvements. </li><li>Define best practices for automated workflows and batch operations. </li><li>Participate in overall batch operations architecture and strategy. </li><li>Flexible hours required and/or weekends, as needed, to meet deadlines or to fulfill batch operation obligations participating in an on-call rotation. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualification You Must Have</strong>:<br><br><ul><li>Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in SAP or batch operations and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree. </li><li>Experience with SAP Business Warehouse batch development and support. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications We Prefer:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience with Run My Jobs or BPA</li><li>Experience with general SAP development (ABAP and/or HANA). </li><li>Experience with Redwood scheduling tools. </li><li>Experience with UNIX. </li><li>Large scale implementation experience with complex solutions environment. </li><li>Candidates with DoD experience. </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours and to be on-call on weekends. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Learn More & Apply Now!<br><br></strong><strong>Work Location:</strong> Remote<br><br><em>Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role:<br><br></em><ul><li>Remote: This position is currently designated as remote.
