Production Artist – File Finalization for Print & Digital Media

Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Production Artist to join our design and media production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalizing creative files for both print and digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and developers to ensure artwork is technically flawless, on-brand, and production-ready. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for design precision, layout consistency, and technical file setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and finalize design files for printing, packaging, publishing, and digital media use.

  • Ensure all files meet production specifications (bleeds, color formats, image resolution, fonts, etc.).

  • Prepare and export files in appropriate formats for offset, digital, and large-format printing.

  • Maintain consistency across all deliverables while adhering to brand guidelines and standards.

  • Perform meticulous quality checks on final artwork, including preflight and proofing.

  • Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and printers to ensure timely project delivery.

  • Create and manage templates for recurring production tasks.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to artwork setup, printing processes, and digital file formats.

  • Organize and archive final files according to company protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro).

  • Strong understanding of print production workflows, color management, and typography.

  • Familiarity with digital media file standards (e.g., PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, GIF, etc.).

  • Keen eye for visual accuracy and file consistency.

  • Ability to handle high-volume production work with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a production artist, prepress technician, or desktop publishing role.

  • Experience working with advertising agencies, print vendors, or in-house creative teams is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday – 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM IST

  • Flexible timing and remote work options available based on project delivery schedules.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of CMYK vs RGB workflows, spot colors, Pantone guides, and print finishing options.

  • Ability to work across a variety of print materials such as brochures, banners, business cards, signage, and packaging.

  • Understanding of resolution standards for high-quality output (print and screen).

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
