About the Role:
C.E. Precision Assemblies, a Trexon company, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career within a fast-paced, team-focused manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, supplies, and services - ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and suppliers
- Request quotes and process purchase orders accurately
- Track, follow up, and expedite orders to ensure timely receipt of materials
- Procure tools, BOM items, and equipment as required
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Maintain and update production and material tracking spreadsheets
- Collaborate with Receiving to confirm deliveries
- Coordinate with suppliers on documentation, RMA processes, and issue resolution
- Support miscellaneous projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of procurement or logistics experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; comfortable with data entry and basic data analysis
- Able to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
- Team-oriented with a positive, proactive approach to collaboration and problem-solving
- Capable of working collaboratively within a team and contributing to a positive and cooperative work atmosphere.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and tasks based on evolving operational needs.
