R&D Lab Chemist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform testing for incoming raw material, in-process and finished product and stability test with prompt report

2. Manage R&D project and collect, study and analyse the data

3. Prepare and keep all project documents (project report, flow diagram, control parameter list, work instruction etc)

4. Issue work order for compounding, colour mixing, coating and coagulant mixing

5. Carry out laboratory inspection and monitor production parameters related to chemical materials

6. Maintaining inventory of glass wares, equipment and tools at good condition

7. Participate in quality improvement for continual improvement in quality system, product and service

8. Participate in lab investigation related to OOS and identify and solve the root cause

9. Participate in quality audit conducted by internal or external bodies

9. Participate in company activities pertaining to training, employee activities and others

10. Review and revise procedure and document in laboratory

11. Ensure staff are adequately trained to optimize their job functions

12. Ability to work under pressure under tight timeline

13. Team player, willing to learn and possess good communication skills, both written and oral

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented R&D Lab Chemist to Conduct R&D project and lab inspection and involve in quality improvement in quality system, product and service.

EDUCATION : At least Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or any related field ,

EXPERIENCE : Preferably 1 year of working experience in related field.

SKILL : Microsoft Office, good time management, teamwork, communication, analytical, decision making and problem sloving skills.
