Responsibilities • Designs, develops, and maintains Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models that support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making • Translates business requirements into clear analytical designs, metrics, and visualizations • Ensures reports are performant, intuitive, and aligned to established data definitions • Partners with data engineers to leverage curated data sets in Databricks • Implements and maintains business logic, calculations, and metrics in a consistent and reusable manner • Applies data quality checks, validation rules, and testing within Databricks and Power BI • Supports metric definitions, documentation, and lineage to ensure trust and transparency (Atlan experience a plus) • Follows established data governance, security, and access control standards • Works closely with business partners to understand reporting needs and prioritizes enhancements • Collaborates with data engineering and business teams to deliver end to end BI solutions • Provides guidance to business users on report usage and interpretation • Troubleshoots and resolve data, model, or reporting issues in a timely manner • Optimizes Power BI models and queries for performance and scalability • Contributes to BI development standards, documentation, and reusable assets • Coaches and mentors less experienced team members • Supports a positive and inclusive work environment Experience/Education Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 3–6 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data development roles • Or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Strong experience developing reports and semantic models in Power BI • Handson experience with SQL for data analysis and transformation • Familiarity working with cloud data platforms, preferably Databricks • Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and analytics best practices • Ability to independently deliver moderately complex BI solutions end to end • Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale analytics environments • Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (e.g., Git), and analytics development workflows • Exposure to data governance, metric standardization, or analytics enablement initiatives • Experience supporting self-service BI and governed
