Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking detail-oriented and responsible Remote Chat Moderators to support our growing online platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring live chats, forums, and messaging channels to ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging digital environment for users worldwide. This is a fully remote opportunity, ideal for individuals who are tech-savvy, reliable, and passionate about online community management.

As a Remote Chat Moderator, you will play a critical role in maintaining platform standards, enforcing community guidelines, and providing real-time support to users. You will work closely with the moderation and support teams to ensure a high-quality user experience across all online interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor live chats, discussion boards, and messaging platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines

  • Review, filter, and respond to user-generated content in real time

  • Identify and remove inappropriate, abusive, or spam content promptly

  • Enforce platform rules fairly and consistently

  • Escalate complex issues or violations to senior moderators or support teams

  • Provide basic assistance and guidance to users when required

  • Maintain accurate moderation logs and reports

  • Stay updated on platform policies and moderation procedures

  • Contribute to creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive online environment

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication skills in English

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot policy violations quickly

Experience
