Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Docker/Kubernetes Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of containerization and orchestration strategies across enterprise systems. This is a pivotal role responsible for crafting scalable and secure container infrastructure for mission-critical applications, with a focus on automation, reliability, and performance. As a remote leader in cloud-native environments, you will collaborate closely with engineering and DevOps teams to modernize deployments and accelerate our cloud transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and design scalable, secure, and resilient container-based infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.
Lead the deployment, management, and monitoring of Kubernetes clusters in cloud or hybrid environments.
Develop and enforce best practices for containerization, orchestration, microservices, and CI/CD workflows.
Collaborate with developers, cloud engineers, and security teams to ensure efficient DevSecOps integration.
Troubleshoot complex system issues related to containerization and orchestrated services.
Define and maintain IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using tools such as Helm, Terraform, and Ansible.
Evaluate and implement container security solutions, monitoring tools, and service mesh frameworks.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and DevOps professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven expertise in Docker and Kubernetes architecture, administration, and automation.
