Remote Early Childhood Curriculum Developer and Virtual Nanny Support

Our client, a modern family with multiple residences, is seeking a highly skilled Remote Early Childhood Curriculum Developer and Virtual Nanny Support specialist. This is a fully remote, first-position requiring a dynamic individual to design and oversee the educational programming for their two children, aged 5 and 8, regardless of their physical location. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative, engaging, and age-appropriate curriculum aligned with leading educational philosophies, and will also provide virtual guidance and support to local caregivers (nannies/tutors) who implement the programs on the ground. This role demands exceptional creativity, strong pedagogical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to manage projects effectively from a distance. Responsibilities Develop a comprehensive, adaptable early childhood curriculum covering literacy, numeracy, science, arts, and social-emotional learning for children aged 5 and 8. Create detailed lesson plans, activity guides, and learning materials that can be easily implemented by local caregivers. Research and integrate the latest best practices and technologies in early childhood education into the curriculum. Conduct virtual training sessions and provide ongoing support and feedback to on-site nannies and tutors to ensure effective program delivery. Monitor children's progress through reports from local caregivers and virtual check-ins (where appropriate) and adjust curriculum as needed. Collaborate with parents remotely to align educational goals and ensure the curriculum meets the family's values and objectives. Curate and recommend educational resources, apps, and online tools suitable for remote learning and enrichment. Maintain a high level of organization and documentation for all curriculum materials and progress reports. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the children's learning experiences through innovative educational approaches. Ensure curriculum is engaging, stimulating, and fun for children, promoting a love of learning. Qualifications Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in curriculum design, early childhood education, or a related educational leadership role. Proven track record of developing successful educational programs for young children. Exceptional understanding of child development theories and pedagogical approaches. Proficiency in using various digital collaboration tools, learning management systems, and educational technology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Experience in training or coaching others in educational delivery is a significant plus. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable working in a fully remote environment. Demonstrated creativity and innovation in educational approaches. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
