Remote eCommerce Order Processing Executive

Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote eCommerce Order Processing Executive to manage and execute online order fulfillment processes with accuracy and efficiency. As part of our dynamic eCommerce operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by processing orders, coordinating with vendors and logistics partners, updating inventory, and resolving order-related issues. This position is ideal for someone who is digitally savvy, customer-centric, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming eCommerce orders across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, WooCommerce, and others.

  • Ensure order accuracy by verifying product SKUs, quantities, payment confirmations, and shipping details.

  • Coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, and courier partners to track shipments and ensure timely dispatch.

  • Monitor inventory levels and alert the appropriate teams about low-stock or out-of-stock situations.

  • Resolve customer order issues such as returns, refunds, delivery delays, and product availability queries.

  • Maintain order logs, reports, and records using Excel/Google Sheets and order management tools.

  • Assist with creating invoices and shipment labels.

  • Communicate with internal departments (sales, warehouse, customer support) for seamless operations.

  • Identify process improvement areas and contribute to the optimization of eCommerce workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Proficiency in using eCommerce platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Shopify, etc.

  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and inventory/order management software.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in eCommerce order processing, back-office operations, or logistics support.

  • Experience with remote work tools (Slack, Zoom, Trello, etc.) is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • Flexible working hours (India Time Zone preferred).

  • Must be available to work 6 days a week, with quick response time during order processing hours.

  • Shift flexibility may be required during sale seasons or high order volume periods.

  • In-depth understanding of online retail processes and customer service expectations.

  • Knowledge of shipping methods, delivery timelines, and packaging standards.
