They are hiring an Electrical Engineer to provide technical oversight across large-scale data center projects, ensuring design quality and compliance while contributing to internal standards and best practices. Responsibilities Provide technical oversight of end-to-end electrical designs across large-scale hyperscale data centers covering the full power distribution chain from MV distribution through LV topologies to rack level Ensure design quality, code compliance, and alignment with internal electrical standards across all projects Contribute to the development of internal design standards, specifications, and best practices Review and challenge electrical design decisions made by external consultants Apply working knowledge of major data center electrical topologies including 2N, N+1, catcher bus, and distributed-redundant configurations Drive consistency across a rapidly growing multi-site portfolio Skills 8 or more years of electrical engineering experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities with exposure to the full power delivery chain Prior experience at a hyperscale operator or a major mission-critical design firm working on hyperscale projects Solid understanding of data center electrical topologies and the trade-offs between them Familiarity with NEC (NFPA 70), TIA-942, NFPA 110, IEEE 446, NFPA 70E, and IEEE 1584 Experience with high-density AI and HPC environments and the electrical demands of GPU-heavy workloads EPMS/BMS integration and liquid cooling electrical distribution experience PE license preferred, or ability to obtain within 18 months Revit MEP, AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, Bluebeam Benefits Equity Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan Generous PTO Company Overview Clear are a data center and energy infrastructure talent consultancy specialising in engineering, white collar construction, through to C-Suite on both permanent and contract across EMEA, North America & APAC.
