[Remote] M&A Revenue Accounting Manager

The M&A Revenue Accounting Manager will support revenue recognition and mergers and acquisitions, driving financial integration and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve project goals. Responsibilities Partner with finance, operations, IT and business functional leads to drive mergers and acquisitions from initial term sheet through diligence, close, valuation, financial reporting and until full product and financial integration Manage through others and influence cross-functional team members to achieve project goals Analyze fit/gap of acquired company finance processes, controls, policies and procedures as compared to Autodesk standards and provide guidance to integration team on necessary changes Develop strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels Analyze revenue recognition implications of acquisitions and new business models and provide guidance to the business Design and implement effective, efficient and automated integrations of new acquisitions, product offerings and business models into the Autodesk ecosystem Manage team responsible for preparation of financial analysis, journal entries and reconciliation of revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts Manage team responsible for the preparation of periodic reports to support internal and external reporting requirements Manage team responsible for the implementation and documentation of processes, controls, procedures and policies as required to maintain SOX compliance Preparation/review of technical accounting memos (specifically, detailing the application of ASC 606-Revenue from Contracts with Customers and ASC 805-Business Combinations) Skills CPA or CA license Experience with supervising monthly and quarterly close activities, account reconciliations, problem resolution, audit schedule preparation and working with external and internal auditors Experience performing/reviewing contract analysis under ASC 606-Revenue from Contracts with Customers Hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, RAR etc.) 7+ years relevant work experience, preferably a mix of public accounting and private industry Knowledge of a broad range of revenue (ASC 606 or IFRS 15) and accounting concepts.
