They are seeking a Senior Manager, Compliance Product Data to build and lead the data function for the Compliance Product, ensuring the integrity and compliance of data products across various systems. Responsibilities Own the Compliance data product suite as an individual contributor, driving strategic product direction across Customer Risk Scoring, Transaction Monitoring, AML, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption systems and programs Lead the design and implementation of the end-to-end Compliance data risk framework, addressing Data Quality, Usage Risk, and Lineage Risk across all compliance data products Execute formal data contracts between Producers (Engineering) and Consumers (2LOD Compliance, 1LOD Operations), defining control requirements and change management protocols as the final authority Partner with senior Engineering stakeholders to maintain comprehensive data lineage, ensuring full transparency from the point of data generation to control consumption and regulatory reporting Drive the data roadmap by acting as the strategic bridge between Compliance SMEs and Engineering leadership, ensuring data integrity is a foundational component of technical design rather than a manual overlay Shape risk-based prioritization across cross-functional teams, focusing on high-materiality data elements that create systemic change and clear data ownership Skills 10+ years in Data Product Management, Data Engineering, or Technical Program Management within regulated Financial Services or FinTech, with deep domain knowledge of AML, KYC, Sanctions, and/or Transaction Monitoring Demonstrated ability to lead technical deep-dives on ETL pipelines, SQL, and data modeling with Engineering partners while translating those needs for non-technical compliance stakeholders Proven experience mapping complex data flows across distributed systems to meet regulatory standards (e.g., BCBS 239 or similar) and designing compensating controls for residual risk Fluency with cloud-native data environments (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and their metadata, lineage, and governance capabilities at scale Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality Benefits Equity and bonus eligibility Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)) Company Overview Coinbase is a crypto exchange and wallet platform that allows merchants and consumers to buy, sell, and store digital currencies.
