Ensures accuracy and thoroughness of reports along with retaining them for future reference and development.</li><li>Designs/implements database applications for billing and invoicing using variety of FIS/FOCUS/IDX related applications.</li><li>Designs/implements computer programs and account approval practices used to extract financial data from account system.</li><li>Prepares and reviews monthly sponsor billing for clinical research. Tracks revenue and outstanding invoices.</li><li>Attends meetings, education programs, workshops and keeps abreast of current literature.</li><li>Act as backup to process documents related to reimbursement of employee expenses, travel documents, purchase orders, blanket orders, invoice statements, and various types of documents handled through the office.  </li><li>Examines financial data to project short and long-term outcomes for clinical research.</li><li>Participates in the development, preparation, review, and evaluation of new processes related to external clinical study payments.</li><li>Act as a resource for the department on transactional inquiries and financial/budgetary questions that require problem-solving and analytic <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">capability.  </span></li><li>Reviews financial performance, operations, and accounts receivable for clinical research.
