Respiratory Therapist – Full Time, Day or Night Shift available - RRT / CRT Location: Sinai Hospital

Job Summary The Respiratory Therapist administers therapeutic gases, ventilator support, and a wide range of respiratory treatments. This role performs critical interventions and procedures such as chest physiotherapy, intubation, arterial line insertions, mini-BALs, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The therapist conducts thorough patient assessments, monitors therapy effectiveness, collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team, and accurately documents all data pertinent to patient care and condition.

Requirements

  • Basic professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree ; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.

  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care required.

  • 1–3 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy.

  • Maryland RCP Licensure (Respiratory Care Practitioner).

  • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required within 1 year of hire .

  • American Heart Association CPR Certification required.

  • ACLS and PALS required within 1 year of hire .
