Job Title: Sales Business Analyst – Data & Reporting

Department: Citigold acquisition team

We are looking for a motivated Sales Analyst to support our Wealth Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and delivering critical sales reports and MIS. Your analysis will provide the key insights needed to track performance, guide strategy, and drive business results. The ideal candidate will transform complex data into actionable insights that track performance, identify trends, and support data-driven strategic decisions, directly contributing to the team's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and centrally publish daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports and MIS dashboards.
  • Analyse sales data to identify key trends, track progress against goals, and provide actionable insights to the Wealth Management leadership.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and customize reports and dashboards accordingly.
  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and allowing for more time to be spent on value-added analysis.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests from the team and perform deep-dive analysis on specific products, regions, or client segments to answer critical business questions.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all published data and reports.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to Code of Conduct.

Key Skills & Competencies :

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create clear, insightful, and interactive dashboards and reports to communicate findings effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and precise in data handling and analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability in all reports.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying issues, performing analysis to understand their root causes, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Data Interpretation: The ability to look at raw data and understand what it means in a business context, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: The capacity to work effectively with the Wealth Management team and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver relevant insights.
  • Time Management and Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work effectively in team setting.
  • Demonstrates professionalism by being reliable, actively contributing in meetings, asking questions and challenging ideas.
  • Must possess sound judgment and be creative in providing solutions required by different stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates self-control and maintains composure under pressure
  • Detail oriented with demonstrated organizational skills
  • Adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience in a sales analysis, business intelligence, or financial reporting role will be preferred
  • Experience in designing and generating Management Information Systems (MIS) reports that provide a high-level overview of business performance.
  • Demonstrated experience in similar role is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years financial planning experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and people skills. Knowledge of financial planning skills, insurance laws, insurance products and investment products. Enthusiasm in achieving goals. Able to work under pressure to deliver the individual sales target. Positive and good corporate mind set. Open mind and willing to embrace changes.
  • Good knowledge of tax law and general financial and economic market.

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
