We’re SMOL, a fast-growing company focused on design-led team making high-quality toys kids love.. As we expand our presence in major retail channels, we’re gearing up to launch on Sam’s Club and are looking for an experienced contractor to help manage this critical channel.

The Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Sam’s Club Account Manager (Contractor) to support our onboarding and launch process. This is a temporary, part-time role ideal for someone with prior experience managing Sam’s Club vendor relationships or launches.
You will serve as the main liaison between our team and Sam’s Club stakeholders, ensuring all setup, compliance, merchandising, and promotional requirements are completed accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the onboarding process with Sam’s Club including item setup, content submission, and system integration.
  • Manage item creation and maintenance in Retail Link and other relevant platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure a smooth setup.
  • Coordinate with Sam’s Club buyers, replenishment teams, and third-party service providers when necessary.
  • Monitor and support the implementation of merchandising plans and launch timelines.
  • Help prepare retail assets including PDP content, product samples, promotional calendars, and other required materials.
  • Provide guidance on Sam’s Club best practices and troubleshoot issues during the onboarding process.
  • Track project milestones and report weekly progress.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience managing Sam’s Club or Walmart accounts (either in-house or agency-side).
  • Deep knowledge of Sam’s Club systems, expectations, and processes, especially Retail Link.
  • Proven success in onboarding CPG products into Sam’s Club.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear and timely communication across internal and external teams.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working part-time on a flexible, project-driven schedule.

Contract Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: ~10–15 hours/week, flexible
  • Compensation: Hourly or fixed project fee (commensurate with experience)
