SAP Basis Support Specialist

Job Description:

  • Provide ongoing administration and support for SAP systems.
  • Perform system refreshes, upgrades, and patching to maintain system health.
  • Manage SAP client administration, backups, and database operations.
  • Conduct daily monitoring of SAP systems, review logs, analyse alerts, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and profiles, ensuring proper authorization levels.
  • Ensure SAP systems comply with security standards and implement best practices for access control.
  • Perform security audits, apply patches, and monitor vulnerabilities to protect data.
  • Configure SAP systems, instances, and application servers for optimal performance.
  • Complete post-implementation tasks and update internal documentation as required.

  • Expertise in user account management, roles, and authorizations aligned with security policies.
  • Understanding of security standards, audits, and vulnerability monitoring.
  • Knowledge of system configurations for performance optimization.
  • Background in security patches, risk management, and compliance best practices.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in SAP Basis Administration, coupled with a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field
