Security Admin Officer

Job Overview:

The Security Officer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating security operations to ensure the safety of company premises, employees, visitors, and assets. The role involves supervising security activities, enforcing security procedures, managing incidents, and ensuring compliance with company security and safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily security operations and security guards
  • Ensure proper access control for employees, visitors, and vehicles
  • Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and security equipment
  • Conduct regular security patrols and inspections
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, or security breaches and prepare reports
  • Enforce company security policies and procedures
  • Manage visitor control and contractor entry procedures
  • Coordinate emergency response during fire, accident, or security threats
  • Liaise with management, authorities, and emergency services when required
  • Ensure security logbooks and documentation are properly maintained
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance requirements
  • Conduct security briefings and training for guards

Requirements & Competencies

  1. Education & Experience

  • Minimum SPM / Diploma in Security Management, Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in security operations or supervisory role
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred
  • Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response practices
  • Experience handling incident investigation is an advantage
  • Basic computer knowledge for reporting and monitoring systems
