Senior Account Manager - Govt Description - Job Summary • This role is responsible for focusing on enterprise accounts and aligning the organization's capabilities with clients' business priorities to drive long-term revenue growth while strengthening customer relationships. The role creates and executes strategic plans to build a robust sales pipeline while collaborating across teams to ensure unified customer success. The role stays informed about industry trends and utilizes data-driven insights to enhance customer relationships, mentor junior team members, and drive organizational success. Responsibilities • Understands the client industry to identify the client’s business strategies and challenges and align the organization’s capabilities to the client’s business and IT priorities. • Builds and executes account business plans including transactional and strategic initiatives to grow the organization’s share in the accounts. • Acts as the voice of the customer within the organization, driving product improvements and enhancements based on customer feedback. • Strengthens the organization’s relationship with the client maintaining a high level of loyalty and acting as a trusted advisor for business and IT-related concerns. • Collaborates closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and technical support, to ensure a unified approach to customer success. • Develops a business-case approach to provide business rationale for client proposals and investments. • Builds and maintains sales pipeline activity by identifying, nurturing, and closing new solution opportunities. • Utilizes data and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in customer relationships. • Stays updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to provide informed guidance to customers. • Provides guidance and mentorship to junior account managers, sharing best practices and insights. Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in customer relationship management, account management, or a related field.
