This role partners closely with senior Treasury leadership to analyze credit markets, execute and manage derivatives, support debt transactions, and produce executive‑level reporting used by the Treasurer, CFO, and Finance leadership.<br><br><br></li></ul>The position is designed for a highly analytical Treasury professional with strong capital markets fluency who can independently own complex analyses and execution workflows.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Derivatives & Financial Risk Management<br><br><ul><li>Execute, record, and report on interest rate and FX derivatives in accordance with internal policies and external accounting requirements.</li><li>Monitor risk exposures (rates, FX, liquidity) and summarize key drivers, sensitivities, and variances versus plan.</li><li>Partner with Accounting to support hedge documentation, effectiveness analysis, and quarter‑end close processes.<br><br><br></li></ul>Capital Markets & Financing<br><br><ul><li>Analyze global credit markets, interest rates, and funding conditions to support capital allocation, financing, and refinancing decisions.</li><li>Support execution and post‑execution management of debt capital markets transactions, including:</li><ul><li>Debt issuance</li><li>Revolving credit facility</li><li>Liability management and refinancing analysis</li><li>Rate locks, interest rate swaps, and related hedging activities.<br></li></ul><li>Prepare transaction materials, scenario analysis, and economics comparisons for senior Treasury leadership and executive review.<br><br></li></ul>Cash Flow Forecasting & Interest Expense Analysis<br><br><ul><li>Analyze short‑term and long‑term cash forecasts in partnership with Treasury Ops, FP&A, and business unit finance teams, supporting investment and capital structure planning.</li><li>Forecast quarterly interest expense and interest income; explain period‑over‑period and plan variances to Treasury and Finance leadership.</li><li>Review bi‑weekly direct cash disbursements and receipts, identifying timing, volume, and structural drivers.<br><br><br></li></ul>Bank Relationship Analytics & Market Intelligence<br><br><ul><li>Track engagements, mandates, and activity across global banking partners; analyze bank performance and risk‑weighted‑asset return metrics.</li><li>Support preparation of bank relationship reviews, wallet analyses, and internal scorecards.</li><li>Monitor macroeconomic, credit market, and capital markets developments; distill implications for Qualcomm and communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders.<br><br><br></li></ul>Cross‑Functional & Strategic Support<br><br><ul><li>Partner with Tax, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, and Business Units on capital markets‑related initiatives, compliance needs, and transaction execution.</li><li>Support ad‑hoc strategic analyses for treasury leadership, including capital return programs (share repurchases, dividends) and stress/scenario analysis.</li><li>Contribute to process improvement, automation, and enhancement of Treasury analytical models and reporting frameworks, consistent with Senior‑level innovation and execution expectations.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Required<br><br></strong>Qualifications & Experience<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.</li><li>~3–8 years of progressive experience in Corporate Treasury, Capital Markets, Banking, or Corporate Finance, with direct exposure to:</li><ul><li>Debt capital markets</li><li>Interest rate derivatives</li><li>Cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis.<br></li></ul><li>Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to senior and non‑technical audiences, consistent with Senior‑level communication expectations.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred<br><br></strong><ul><li>Master’s degree (MBA or MS Finance) or professional certification (CTP, CFA).</li><li>Experience with treasury systems, market data platforms, and bank portals.</li><li>Exposure to hedge accounting, ASC 815 concepts, or coordination with accounting teams (supporting, not policy‑owning).</li><li>Prior experience supporting public company debt issuance or large‑scale financing programs.<br><br><br></li></ul>Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
