If you are too, let's talk.</p> <p><strong>Position Description:</strong></p><p>This is a key leadership role in the Professional Services (Technical Architecture) organization, responsible for the implementation of Okta services. The Senior Manager is an experienced, enthusiastic, and hands-on leader preferably in the Security and/or Identity & Access Management domain, who can rapidly learn and apply the Auth0 value proposition to customers of all sizes.</p><p>The Senior Manager is a leader of a high-performing team of Technical Architects, functioning in a "player-coach" model. This role requires impressive field and management experience and involves mentoring the team of Technical Architects.</p><p>You have experience managing a technical team, resource forecasting, change & escalation management and operational excellence for Professional Service teams. You have a deep understanding of reporting and metrics as well as capacity planning and utilization targets. You will have a strong Consulting background with an ability to handle multiple work streams and be deeply comfortable with client issues and resolutions.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><p><strong>Team Leadership:</strong></p><ul><li>Hiring, growing, and retaining a team of Professional Service Technical Architects.</li><li>Providing direct management, mentoring, and support to ensure their continued technical, professional, and career growth. </li><li>Up-skilling team members to ensure they have the expertise to successfully deliver Okta to customers. Manages outlined objective and subjective performance metric requirements. </li><li>Active sync with Partner, delivery enablement & address performance</li></ul><p><strong>Customer Engagement:</strong></p><ul><li>Acting as the primary customer liaison, managing relationships and communication between the project team, the customer, and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Ensuring customer success from the beginning to the end of the engagement life cycle. Managing project budgets to meet customer and Okta expectations.</li></ul><p><strong>Operational Excellence:</strong></p><ul><li>Assisting the Director with oversight and accountability for professional services billings, revenue, customer satisfaction, resources, and utilization. Demonstrating and improving a repeatable implementation methodology to rapidly enable customers. </li><li>Perform Governance & audits of Technical Architecture design and deliverables quality</li><li>Drive team contribution to Technical Architecture Practice evolution and initiatives</li><li>Directly contribute to ongoing process improvement within the Technical Architecture practice and across Okta Professional Services and our subcontractor ecosystem.</li><li>Oversight & manage of customer project dynamics, change management, concerns across multiple engagements and workstreams </li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong><ul><li>10+ years experience in Identity & Access Management.</li><li>5+ years of experience leading teams.</li><li>5+ years of experience in Design, consulting, delivering solutions to external customers.</li><li>Expertise in technologies and protocols like SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of enterprise web technologies and security.</li><li>Ability to work independently and multi-functionally supporting the development of client work you're doing.</li><li>Ability to Multi-task and manage multiple customer engagements is a requirement.</li><li>Experience in Process Improvement, Decision-making, Managing Processes, Planning, Analyzing Information and Developing Standards.</li><li>Ability to travel up to 50%.</li><li>A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.</li><li>Auth0 Certified OR Okta Certified Consultant will be a plus.</li><li>CISSP certification is a plus.</li></ul><p></p><p>#P10542_3477392</p> <p>The OTE range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:: $233,000 USD - $320,100 USD</p><p>Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
