Implements corrective action planning when applicable.</p></li><li><p>Oversees nursing operations so that the patient care needs are met, profit margins are maintained, and overtime is controlled.</p></li><li><p>Complies with company requirements and ensures that services are provided consistent with established standards of practice, federal and state regulations, accreditation standards and home health agency policy (if applicable).</p></li><li><p>Implements policies and procedures and oversees the selection, development and monitoring of nursing staff.</p></li><li><p>Effectively works with customers to support and understand their overall business objectives and critical success factors. Participates in monthly and quarterly business reviews for assigned customers.</p></li><li><p>Assesses, manages, and reports nursing operational and financial data to the Area Director of Nursing, including analysis for trends and development of process improvement plans.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for the review of time entry for direct reports and to ensure compliance with leaders within their organization.  This includes updating errors as necessary, reviewing overall time entry, and identifying events outside of the expected standard duration of visits. </p></li><li><p>Partners with the Nurse Manager on the supervision and evaluation of all nursing personnel who provide direct patient care and assists with all human resource issues related to nursing performance evaluations, disciplines, and terminations.</p></li><li><p>Participates and ensures on-call responsibilities for the company are carried out.</p></li><li><p>Ensures a clinical networking system for employees is in place and acts as a clinical resource.
