The Opportunity Our location in Rogers, AR currently has an opportunity for a Senior Sales Analyst for the Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. The Senior Sales Analyst – Sam’s Club plays a critical role in transforming sales, shopper, and inventory data into actionable growth strategies for Abbott’s Sam’s Club business. This role goes beyond traditional reporting, serving as a trusted analytical partner to the Sales team by identifying opportunities, influencing decisions, and supporting customer-facing initiatives. As a Senior Analyst, this position is expected to demonstrate advanced analytical capability while beginning to exhibit behaviors aligned with a future National Account Manager — including ownership of incremental responsibilities, proactive opportunity identification, and confident recommendation development. Informal leadership and mentorship within the broader analytics team are key aspects of success. What You’ll Work On Conduct in-depth analysis across multiple data sources to uncover actionable insights related to category performance, consumer behavior, and shopper trends Enable Sales leadership through data-backed support for Joint Business Planning, Line Reviews, New Item tracking, Forecast Optimization, promotional effectiveness analysis, and ad-hoc strategic requests Serve as a category and customer analytics expert, engaging internal partners and the Sam’s Club team through insightful dialogue, fact-based storytelling, and efficient workflow execution Own and evolve weekly and monthly reporting, identifying root causes, performance drivers, and forward-looking implications to accelerate business growth Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories using best-in-class visualization and presentation techniques to influence decisions Leverage omnichannel perspectives to inform customer strategies and recommendations Perform additional duties as assigned Data & Analytical Scope Sam’s Club–only account focus Primary ownership of POS, syndicated data and inventory analytics with exposure to shipments and shopper insights Data sources include Nielsen/Circana syndicated data and Sam’s Club Madrid POS and Member Insights platforms What Success Looks Like Enhances and modernizes existing reporting and analytics Uncovers insights beyond surface-level trends Demonstrates continuous learning and skill expansion Builds credibility through accurate, timely, high-quality work Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required with 2-3 years of retail analytics experience Experience in Circana/Nielsen and Microsoft programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) is required An understanding of data modeling and visualization software is desired (e.g. SQL, Power BI, Tableau) Demonstrated team collaboration and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Prior Sam’s Club and/or Walmart experience Experience with Madrid Member Champion or shopper insight platforms Demonstrated ability to grow beyond scope and take increasing ownership Apply Now Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives www.abbottbenefits.com Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
