We’re Hiring: Shipping Specialist

InstroTek is looking for a Shipping Specialist to join our Operations team and play a key role in ensuring our products are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time. If you enjoy staying active throughout the day and working with a collaborative team, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and process daily shipments to meet customer deadlines
  • Receive, unload, and organize incoming materials and freight
  • Pack, label, and schedule pickups for outgoing shipments
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and reporting
  • Assemble kits and support light warehouse builds as needed
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and secure
  • Assist with backorders and ensure timely fulfillment
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts

Requirements

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Data entry and basic computer experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and standard software tools

  • Ability to follow processes and safety protocols

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Standing and walking throughout the entire shift
  • Regular lifting (10–70 lbs. unassisted; heavier items with equipment or team lift)
  • Frequent use of pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts
  • Working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment (warm temperatures and humidity during spring–fall months)
  • Laboratory facilities contain minor, fully shielded radiation sources used strictly for materials testing
  • All areas are monitored and controlled under strict safety protocols
  • Exposure risk is minimal and well below occupational safety thresholds
