Site Safety Supervisor

Role Summary

As Myra’s Site Safety Supervisor, your role is to ensure the safety and well-being of workers and visitors on property development construction sites. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies, procedures, and regulations to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Site Safety & Health full implementation & compliance all the time.
  • Keep & maintain project site & Centralised Labour Quarters (CLQ) cleanliness all the time. Including zero larva breeding.
  • Immediate response to any breeching of site safety & health rules & regulation including issuance of NCR & penalty system to offender.
  • Maintain weekly site tool box briefing, housekeeping, larva ciding & fogging including preparing monthly report to KKM.
  • Consistently monitoring on site workers with full PPE & site work hazard including reporting issue related to safety & health at site during CCM & Site Subcon Meeting.
  • Assist SHO on all sort of documentation & site safety implementation work.
  • To be in standby mode during night work & to ensure all work is carry out safely during night work.
  • Generate all documents related to safety & health matters
  • Ensure site safety communication such as signages, toolbox & induction is carried out.
  • To prepare monthly Safety Matters for CCM meeting progress report
  • Conducting site inspections to check machinery, equipment, and processes to identify risks, and the proper implementation of procedures and policies.
Job Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety, with experience as a Site Safety Supervisor preferred.
  2. Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards, including OSHA regulations.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate employees.
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to quickly respond to safety incidents and develop effective corrective actions.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  8. Must have JKKP registered with "Yellow Book"
