JOB DESCRIPTION

Join FOX News Media’s dynamic Social Media Marketing and Monetization Team! As a Social Media Content Creator, you will be part of a team responsible for creating digital-first, innovative social media content for multiple platforms. You will play a key role in our social media content strategy to drive engagement, brand awareness, growth and revenue for Fox News Media platforms, including Fox Nation.

 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Pitch social media content that aligns with the brand, target audience and business goals 

  • Produce, shoot and edit engaging short and long-form video content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Threads

  • Write compelling scripts and concise copy that resonate with the target audience

  • Use analytics and social media insights to monitor the performance of content and make data-driven decisions and optimizations

  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools and best practices to ensure that content stays innovative and relevant

  • Maintain a consistent brand image and voice across all social media platforms

  • Brainstorm ideas to bring in new audiences for Fox's digital platforms

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that content aligns with overall brand messaging and marketing campaigns

  • Travel to events and produce/publish real-time content in the field

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field

  • 2-3 years experience in social media content creation in a fast-paced corporate environment

  • Precise and detail-oriented, with the ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Strong editorial judgment and a commitment to accuracy

  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling and shareable content

  • Strong understanding of all social media platforms and best practices

  • Skilled in using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop for vertical video production and graphic templates

  • Proficient in using social media management/in-app editing tools and analytics platforms

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Passion for social media, digital marketing and emerging trends in the digital landscape

  • Confident in working with on-air talent

  • Flexibility in schedule to work holidays and weekends when necessary, and to shift your schedule as news, events and projects warrant

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-75,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
