We’re looking for a Social Media Influencer Specialist that is obsessed with music, pop culture, fashion, technology and the latest social media trends. As the Social Media Influencer Specialist, you’ll help the Social Media Content team find the perfect creators to collaborate with, activating influencer partnerships, and keeping campaigns running smoothly. You’ll be part of the team that helps bring the Hot Topic vibe to life online. This role operates on a hybrid schedule and will require to work from our HQ located in the City of Industry, CA three days a week. WHAT YOU'LL DO Help source the right influencers and creators for each campaign Build and maintain partnerships with influencers, their managers, and agencies while staying on budget (yep, creativity and accountability) Help run campaigns from start to finish — share briefs, deliverables, deadlines, and all the deets to make sure content hits just right Track campaign deliverables and performance metrics, keep organized and up to date Identify creators for brand content opportunities and special projects Support diversity and representation across all influencer relationships Stay plugged into influencer trends, social platforms, and pop culture moments — and share what’s next with the team WHAT YOU'LL NEED 1–2 years of marketing experience (brand or agency — influencer experience is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Admin, Communications preferred, or equivalent experience Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Windows-based applications Experience using social insights and analytics tools to measure success Experience using influencer management tools or creator marketplaces Ability to work nights, weekends, and attend events when needed (because the internet never sleeps) A real passion for music, fashion, and pop culture — and an open mind for what’s next Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual’s education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training, and experience, will determine the final salary for potential new hires.

Required qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of marketing experience (brand or agency — influencer experience is a plus)
