Social Media Manager / Content Wingman (Part-Time, Remote)

About the Role We’re looking for a creative, faith-forward Social Media Manager to serve as a wingman to Bethany Hamilton — someone who understands her story, voice, and mission, and can help translate that into engaging, inspiring content across platforms. This role is about more than posting. It’s about helping us be a light on social media, encourage others to live boldly and faithfully, and promote both our mission-driven initiatives and paid brand partnerships — all while staying culturally relevant and algorithm-savvy. Responsibilities Manage and post content across • Instagram • Facebook • TikTok • YouTube • Pinterest • X (Twitter) • Collaborate closely with Bethany as a creative wingman • Assist with content ideas, captions, trends, and execution • Help simplify the content creation process Stay up-to-date on • Platform trends • Algorithm changes • Content formats currently being favored • Create and edit content using tools like Canva (and similar platforms) • Utilize ChatGPT or other AI tools to support • Content ideation • Caption writing • Creative brainstorming Support promotion of • Our own mission-driven projects • Paid sponsorships and brand partnerships Help maintain a consistent voice that reflects • Faith • Family • Health • Purpose • Authentic encouragement • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns involving Facebook Advertising and other paid promotions to maximize reach. • Maintain consistency in branding across all digital channels while ensuring content is proofread for accuracy and professionalism.
