Spanish-Catalan Audio Recording Participant

<p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote<br><strong>Status:</strong> Project-based<br><strong>Pay:</strong> $90 USD per hour (depending on experience and skills)<br><strong>Benefits:</strong> Flexible schedule<br><br><strong>Project Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>You must be a native speaker of Spanish (spoken in Spain) and have at least intermediate fluency in Catalan.</li><li>Comfortable working with provided scripts and making minor conversational adjustments to improve naturalness.</li><li>Previous experience with audio recording, voice data collection, podcasting, voice acting, or similar projects is preferred but not required.</li><li>No professional studio, special equipment, or voice-acting experience is required! Standard mobile phone or laptop microphones are perfect. You will just need to follow a simple setup guide so your voices record onto separate left and right channels (Agent on the left, Customer on the right).</li><li>Each pair of participants can record up to 1 hour of total audio (maximum 30 minutes of speaking time per individual). You will need to practice the script briefly beforehand so it sounds like a natural, everyday conversation rather than reading from a page.</li></ul><h3><br><strong>The Project:</strong></h3><p>We are looking for bilingual speakers for a high-priority, fast-paced audio data collection project to help train AI systems to understand natural, real-world conversations where speakers switch between two languages (code-switching). The project replicates everyday customer support situations and conversations.<br><br><strong>Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in recorded conversations using both Spanish (Spain) and Catalan while following project guidelines.</li><li>Collaborate with another participant to perform customer support-style roleplay recordings.</li><li>Follow recording instructions to ensure audio quality and proper channel separation.</li><li>Deliver recordings that reflect natural speech patterns and realistic code-switching between languages.</li><li>Complete assigned recordings and related project tasks within project deadlines.</li></ul><h3><br><strong>Engagement Requirements:</strong></h3><ul><li>You must be a native speaker of Spanish (spoken in Spain) and have at least intermediate fluency in Catalan.</li><li>Comfortable speaking naturally in both languages during recorded conversations.</li><li>Access to a quiet recording environment with minimal background noise.</li><li>Access to a computer, laptop, or mobile device with a functioning microphone and internet connection.</li><li>Must complete the task within the expected timeframe after onboarding<br> </li></ul><p><strong>About Us: </strong></p><p>As a global data company, Productive Playhouse “PPH”, is pioneering our approach to language and data services, while incorporating their roots as a production company.
