You will serve as a trusted Splunk expert, guiding account teams and customers to optimize their use of the Splunk Platform for enhanced operational resilience.<br /> </p><h2><b>What you will do</b></h2><ul><li>Provide strategic, case-based technical consulting and delivery (up to 90 days) for Splunk Enterprise/Cloud, Enterprise Security, UBA/UEBA, and SOAR to improve customer platform adoption.</li><li>Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to drive customer value realization through effective onboarding, enablement, and comprehensive health reviews.</li><li>Audit platform usage, data models, and dashboards to remediate identified issues and optimize overall account health.</li><li>Plan and develop detections and analytics for security use case activation to close MITRE ATT&CK coverage gaps and strengthen security postures.</li><li>Scope the level of effort and develop technical action plans to resolve complex technical situations based on thorough assessments.</li><li>Engage proactively with Technical Success Engineers, Solution Engineers, and Architects to review account health and identify data management opportunities.</li><li>Deliver customer onboarding and enablement-based workshops to ensure users achieve critical success milestones.</li><li>Gain alignment with account team members and customer decision-makers to demonstrate the tangible business value of proposed technical solutions.</li><li>Contribute to practice key performance indicators by driving process improvements, developing collateral, and implementing new tools.</li><li>Empower customers with high-quality architectural guidance, ensuring their enterprise-level implementations are successful and scalable.<br /> </li></ul><h2><b>Minimum qualifications</b></h2><ul><li>Professional experience administering, configuring, and maintaining Splunk Core (Enterprise or Cloud) and/or Enterprise Security (ES) platforms, including integrating and normalizing data from diverse sources.</li><li>Professional experience designing Splunk architecture, implementing data onboarding, and deploying Splunk Core and/or ES product features.</li><li>Professional experience writing Search Processing Language (SPL), including the ability to develop and optimize correlation and risk-based alerting rules.</li><li>Professional experience working in technical consulting, systems architecture, or big-data analytics roles.<br /> </li></ul><h2><b>Preferred qualifications</b></h2><ul><li>Proficiency with scripting languages (such as Bash) and application development (Java, Python, or .NET).</li><li>Hands-on experience delivering Splunk Cloud implementations and cloud migration projects.</li><li>Active Splunk Consultant and Splunk Cloud Administration Certifications.</li><li>Industry-standard security certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent.</li><li>Understanding of enterprise architecture across on-premise and Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).</li><li>Solid foundation in cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST CSF, CIS, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.</li><li>Expertise in additional security products and applications, such as UBA/UEBA and SOAR.</li><li>Experience with Splunk Data Management solutions, including Edge Processor, Ingest Processor, DDAA, and Federated Search.</li><li>Strong collaborative skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.</li></ul><p></p><h1>Why Cisco? </h1><p>At Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era – and beyond.
