About the Role

We are looking for a strategic operator to drive high-impact growth initiatives for LendingClub’s Point-of-Sale (Purchase Finance) business. This individual contributor role partners closely with the VP of Purchase Finance and senior cross-functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute initiatives that accelerate provider acquisition, increase utilization, and improve retention. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will translate business priorities into action by aligning stakeholders, building momentum across teams, and ensuring disciplined execution. Success requires strong business judgment, structured problem-solving, and the ability to influence across Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing.

What You'll Do

Growth Strategy & Initiative Leadership
  • Identify high-impact opportunities across provider acquisition, activation, utilization, and retention
  • Partner with the VP of Purchase Finance to define and operationalize strategic priorities
  • Translate strategy into clear roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and execution plans
  • Build alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business impact
  • Develop business cases, decision frameworks, and executive-ready materials to support prioritization and investment decisions
Cross-Functional Execution
  • Lead complex initiatives from concept through execution
  • Align Product, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Sales teams around shared goals and timelines
  • Identify execution risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs, and facilitate resolution
  • Maintain visibility into initiative progress, outcomes, and key learnings for leadership
Business Performance & Insights
  • Analyze performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimization opportunities
  • Define success metrics and monitor initiative performance
  • Translate quantitative and qualitative insights into clear recommendations for leadership
  • Partner with analytics teams to ensure reporting supports business objectives
Product & Operational Partnership
  • Develop expertise in PF products, customer journeys, provider experience, and operational workflows
  • Translate business needs into prioritized initiatives in partnership with Finance, Credit, Product, Operations, Marketing, and Sales
  • Ensure initiatives are scalable, compliant, and aligned with long-term business strategy

About You

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, fintech, or a related role with significant cross-functional execution responsibility
  • Experience in fintech, consumer lending, or financial services preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership
  • High ownership mindset and ability to operate effectively as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Strong fluency with AI tools, using them to accelerate execution, improve output quality, and elevate team effectiveness with sound judgment
Nice to Have
  • Experience in point-of-sale financing or embedded lending models
  • Experience driving provider or merchant acquisition initiatives
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, or SQL
  • Experience operating in regulated financial services environments
