Sr. Tableau Developer Location Woodlawn, Maryland (Remote) Duration Long Term • Position Description • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment • Ability to adjust and work with shifting priorities, demands, and schedules • Ability to elicit cooperation with upper management, stakeholders and technical leads • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Work with highly experienced and technical resources • All other duties as assigned or directed • Skills Requirements Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications) This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field • 10+ years of experience as a Senior BI Developer and knowledge of data mapping and analysis for supporting ETL efforts for Business Intelligence (BI) projects. • Design, develop, deploy and support Tableau dashboards. • Strong Experience with Crystal Reports. • Participating in Requirements and Design discussions with project stakeholders; Develop and document business requirements, impact assessments, process documentation and other related materials; Translate business requirements into ETL and report specifications. • Design, develop and implement interactive analytic reports and dashboards. • Attend team meetings with team members to understand and refine business features. • Attend regular customer meetings and provide status on assigned tasks. • Analyze and troubleshoot the existing Oracle 19c data models, PL/SQL and Linux scripts, and code for opportunities to optimize performance and migrate into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). • Factors to Help You Shine (Required Skills) • Overall 10+ years' experience with BI reports development. • Design, develop, deploy and support Tableau dashboards. • Strong Experience with Crystal Reports. • Experience designing and developing Tableau visualization solutions. • Experience developing interactive dashboards, charts, pivots, and reports in Tableau Desktop 2021.1 or higher using advanced calculations, parameters, and data blending. • Experience in supporting ETL efforts for Business Intelligence (BI) projects. • Strong experience participating in Requirements and Design discussions with project stakeholders; Develop and document business requirements and translate business requirements into ETL and report specifications. • Strong understanding of data recovery and job rerun needs in an ETL environment. • Proficiency writing scripts using Oracle PL/SQL, and PostgreSQL. • Hands on experience with data warehouse Business Intelligence (BI) / Management Information (MI) reporting environment.
