Support Worker – Visa Sponsorship Available (UK-Based Tier 2 Switch)

Job Summary

GracePath Healthcare is actively seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Support Workers to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals already in the UK looking to switch to a Tier 2 visa. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care and support to individuals with varying needs, helping them live independently with dignity and respect in their own homes or supported living environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care, including washing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.

  • Support clients with mobility needs and ensure safe use of equipment and aids.

  • Administer medication according to care plans and company policy (training provided).

  • Promote emotional wellbeing and mental health through companionship and supportive interactions.

  • Assist with domestic tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and shopping.

  • Keep accurate daily records of care provided and report any concerns to supervisors.

  • Encourage independence while respecting each individuals choices and privacy.

  • Comply with GracePath Healthcares safeguarding policies and Health & Safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be currently residing in the UK and eligible for Tier 2 sponsorship switch.

  • Minimum of Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care or willingness to work toward it.

  • Basic proficiency in spoken and written English (IELTS not required if already in the UK).

  • A caring, empathetic, and respectful nature with a genuine interest in helping others.

  • Right to work in the UK (with intention to switch via skilled worker visa).

Experience

  • Previous experience in a care or support role is highly desirable but not essential.

  • Full training will be provided, so candidates with the right attitude and commitment to care are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience with dementia, learning disabilities, or physical impairments is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Flexible shifts available: Day shifts, Night shifts, and Weekends

  • Full-time availability preferred (minimum 37.5 hours/week)
