Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Record high-quality audio samples in Tamil, ensuring clear pronunciation and adherence to linguistic standards.
  2. Transcribe and annotate speech data with precision and attention to detail.
  3. Evaluate and provide feedback on the quality of audio and transcriptions for continuous improvement.
  4. Follow established AI workflows to collect, organize, and review speech data systematically.
  5. Collaborate with the customer's team to ensure language tasks align with project objectives and quality benchmarks.
  6. Maintain meticulous records and documentation throughout data collection and annotation processes.
  7. Participate in quality assurance checks to uphold linguistic and audio data standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Native fluency in Tamil, with a deep understanding of regional dialects and cultural nuances.
  2. Exceptional attention to detail, especially in quality evaluation and linguistic accuracy.
  3. Experience or familiarity with audio recording, speech data collection, or related workflows.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate observations clearly.
  5. Proficiency in audio transcription and annotation tools or willingness to learn quickly.
  6. Ability to work independently, managing tasks and deadlines in a remote setting.
  7. Commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in all deliverables.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience as an audio engineer, voice actor, podcaster, or musician.
  2. Background in linguistics, language teaching, or audio-related fields.
  3. Prior involvement in AI training projects or familiarity with machine learning concepts.
