Trading Clerk

About The Role We are looking for a Trading Clerk to join our team, responsible for supporting daily trading operations through accurate order entry, proper documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. This role works closely with licensed representatives to facilitate smooth and efficient trading activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Order Entry Support
  • Input and process trading orders accurately and promptly in the trading system on behalf of the licensed representative. Eg; Dealer’s Representative / Remisier / IVT.
  • Ensure all order details are correctly entered in accordance with instructions provided by the licensed representative.
  • Trade Documentation and Record Maintenance
  • Maintain proper and systematic records of trading documentation.
  • Ensure trading records are updated, properly filed, and securely stored in accordance with the Bank’s record-keeping policies.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence
  • Perform all duties in compliance with applicable Acts, laws, rules and regulations of the relevant Exchange(s) and Depository.
  • Observe and comply with all directives and guidelines issued by regulatory authorities, including Information Technology and the Bank’s internal policies and procedures.
  • Trading Operations Support
  • Work closely with the licensed representative to ensure smooth and uninterrupted day-to-day trading operations.
  • Assist in trade monitoring, confirmation processes and operational support to facilitate efficient trading activities.
  • Role Limitation
  • The role holder shall not represent himself/herself as a licensed Dealer’s Representative.
  • The role holder shall not perform regulated dealing activities or provide investment advice or recommendations to clients.
6 Additional Duties
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior or Management from time to time.
