About the Role UHAUL Careers Remote - International Shipping Operations Representative We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shipping Operations Representative to join our U-Box International Shipping team. As a remote team member, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless international shipments, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our logistics operations. If you're a self-starter with excellent decision-making skills and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Shipment Tracking and Management Monitor, track, and update U-Box shipments to international destinations in our Transportation Management System and internal systems. Coordination and Communication Collaborate with US/CAN U-Haul locations, carrier representatives, and co-workers via phone and email to resolve issues and ensure smooth shipment execution. Documentation and Process Improvement Provide essential documents to U-Haul locations and carriers, document processes and procedures, and assist in creating new ones as we onboard new international destinations and shipping partners. Special Projects Participate in special projects to enhance our logistics operations, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business growth. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Customer Service Experience 1-2 years of customer service experience in a logistics or transportation-related industry. Organizational and Time Management Skills Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Excellent Communication Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar software applications. Preferred Qualifications Logistics or Transportation Experience Experience in logistics or transportation management, preferably in an international shipping environment. Language Skills Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or French. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues.
