Provide high quality professional service to Companies.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><div><div>Job Description</div></div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br>Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.<br>1. Enter New Submissions in the clearance system and handle according to established procedures.<br>2. Prepare and model new and renewal business as directed and supervised by an Underwriter.<br>3. Review policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, etc., resolve any discrepancies and make changes, as needed.<br>4. Review and process policy servicing requests (endorsement, audits, Company requests, Certificates, Premium Finance Notices and Cancellations, etc.).<br>5. Invoice and process new business and renewal binders, premium bearing endorsements, and cancellations according to internal and Company guidelines.<br>6. Produce cancellation and non-renewal notices according to statutory and contractual requirements under the direction of assigned Underwriter.<br>7. Manage underwriting files on accounts in which policies are not issued and handle according to Company and internal established procedures.<br>8. Maintain pending/suspense system per established procedures.<br>9. Maintain account files in accordance with company policy.<br>10. Perform other duties as assigned.<br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><b>Required Qualifications:</b><br>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. College degree with a concentration in business or equivalent work experience<br>2. Able to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">policies/certificates</span><br>3. Strong knowledge of underwriting processes, including classification principles, rating, contract administration, proposal/new business/renewal issuance and property valuations<br>4. Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating<br>5. Ability to use company automation systems<br>6. Ability to develop, foster and maintain an excellent working relationship with clients<br>7. Ability to work in a team environment<br>8. Ability to maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry<br>9. Good written and verbal skills<br>10. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products<br>11. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight<br><br><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b><br>1. Insurance experience<br>2. State-specific insurance license<br>3.
